2-Minute Setup Guide

1

Create your empty Google Sheet

Go to your Google Drive and create a fresh Google Sheet. Share the sheet with the Service Account Email provided by your developer giving it "Editor" access.

2

Find the Telegram Bot

On Telegram, search for @solus_ascion_bot and start a conversation.

3

Get your Chat ID

Search for @userinfobot on Telegram and press Start. It will instantly reply with your Chat ID (a sequence of numbers).

4

Connect it all in Settings

Navigate to the Settings page here on the dashboard. Paste your Google Sheet Link and Chat ID into the Connections pane. Hit Save! Your sheets will automatically populate with tabs and you'll get a welcome message on Telegram.

πŸ“‹ Task Backlog

The backlog is a date-free holding area for tasks you've captured but aren't ready to schedule. Park ideas in the morning, promote them when the time is right.

  • /backlog <tasks> β€” Park one or more tasks. Multi-line input adds each line as a separate task. Leading bullets and numbers are stripped automatically.
  • /backlog β€” View your parked tasks as a numbered list (up to 20 shown).
  • /backlog-use <n> β€” Move task #n to today's list. You can also use #n as shorthand (e.g. /backlog-use #3).
  • /backlog-tomorrow <n> β€” Move task #n to tomorrow's list.
  • /backlog-remove <n> β€” Delete task #n from the backlog.
  • Backlog page: The dedicated Backlog page (accessible from the sidebar) lets you promote or remove tasks directly β€” no Telegram needed.

πŸ““ Journal

Capture thoughts, reflections, or notes at any point in the day. Entries are tied to a specific date and stack up chronologically.

  • /journal β€” Read today's entries. Reply to any old bot message to read that day's entries instead.
  • /journal <text> β€” Append an entry to today. Multi-line messages are stored as a single entry.
  • Reply to an old message + /journal <text> β€” Logs the entry against that message's date automatically.
  • Journal page (sidebar): A full rich-text editor with live markdown preview. Pick any past date from the left column, write freely, and changes auto-save. Supports bold, italic, headings, blockquotes, lists, code blocks, links, and more via the toolbar.
  • Day Detail Modal: Journal entries for a day appear as a collapsed section at the bottom β€” click to expand.
